I’m not actually sure if I have ever let my phone die. I plug it in every night, and I have bought multiple power banks (from meh) that I carry around with me.
Followup: What did I do the last time my phone ran out of battery? Plug it in to charge and finally hit the sack. Same for the times before that. (It doesn’t happen often. I charge my phone every night.)
I generally have like a half dozen ways to charge my phone. On occasion it gets low when Im away from all that so I just set it on power saving mode. Hasnt died on me in years
Gosh, it was like 10 years ago and I was using it to navigate from Birmingham to Fort Walton Beach which is mostly back roads.
I saw some police officers and they gave me directions. I made home.
I also stopped at a gas station in a small Alabama town after dark. A black man came over and asked what I was doing. It seemed obvious but I responded “I’m getting gas.” He told me “it ain’t safe for you here. Get in your car and go.” Which I promptly complied.

I was still functional, I had to be, still had stuff to do before I got home!

I have 2 phones! Neither one has ever died either; I carry a power bank in my purse.
